Jumblatt says Assad behind Hasan’s assassination

BEIRUT: Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt accused Syrian President Bashar Assad over the killing of police officer Maj. Gen. Wissam Hasan in a car bombing in Beirut Friday.

Jumblatt was quoted as saying that Assad had burned Syria and now he wanted to burn the environs of Syria.
