BEIRUT: Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri discussed developments in Lebanon and the region Saturday with the U.N. Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly in Riyadh.

According to Hariri’s office, the two discussed “the situation in Lebanon and the region.”

Hariri, the head of the Future Movement, currently resides in Saudi Arabia for security reasons although he has said he will return to Lebanon to run his party’s campaign before the next parliamentary elections.
