Rai to Moscow on four-day pastoral visit

BEIRUT: Maronite Cardinal Beshara Rai is scheduled to travel to Moscow Tuesday on a four-day pastoral visit, An-Nahar reported Sunday.

Rai is expected to meet with the speaker of Russia's Duma, Sergei Naryshkin, and Orthodox Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The Cardinal will hold a Mass Wednesday morning at St. Maroun Church.

He is also scheduled to visit Moscow's Cathedral as well as the State Tretyakov Gallery.
