BEIRUT: Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met Saturday with Lebanese Army commander Maj. Gen. Jean Kahwagi for talks over recent developments, the National News Agency reported.

The meeting, held at Berri’s Ain al-Tineh residence in Beirut, also tackled the security situation in the country, the NNA said.
