BEKAA, Lebanon: A stun grenade detonated early Friday near the homes of Hezbollah MP Kamel Rifai and the newly appointed mufti for Baalbek in east Lebanon, security sources said.

No casualties were reported as a result of the 3 a.m. explosion that shattered the windows of two parked cars, the sources, who requested anonymity, said.

They added that the detonation was only 100 meter away from Rifai’s residence which is close to the house of the newly-appointed mufti for Baalbek, Sheikh Bakr Rifai, also close to Hezbollah.
