Roadside bomb explodes near Syria-Lebanon border

BEIRUT: A roadside bomb blew up early Tuesday morning on the highway linking the Bekaa Valley town of Bar Elias with the Masnaa border crossing to Syria, a security source told The Daily Star.

The source said a small nail-filled bomb exploded around 3:30 a.m. at the Ikramiyeh intersection of the highway in eastern Lebanon.

No casualties or damage was reported.
