Police: 9 killed, 40 injured in Germany bus crash

BERLIN: German police say nine people have died and 40 were injured when several buses crashed on a highway near the eastern city of Dresden.

Police spokesman Lutz Zoellner said the crash happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday and involved a Polish bus, a Ukrainian bus and a Polish minibus. He was unable to immediately provide details about the victims.
