Czech police Friday used tear gas to stop migrants from trying to flee a detention center where they were awaiting deportation from the central European country, an official said.Held in a detention center in Bela-pod-Bezdezem, in the country's northeast, the migrants are waiting to be sent back to the countries through which they first entered into Europe's Schengen zone.According to a survey published Friday by the Center for Analysis and Empirical Studies (Sanep), 70.8 percent of Czechs are reluctant to welcome migrants from Africa and the Middle East into their country.
