The number of foreigners visiting Turkey dropped over 40 percent in June to its lowest level this year as the impact of attacks and previous tensions with Russia caused havoc for the vital tourism industry, statistics showed Thursday.Some 2.43 million foreigners came to Turkey in June, down 40.86 percent on June 2015, the tourism ministry said in its latest release.Arrivals from Russia were down 93.01 percent in June compared to the same period in 2015 and overall tourist numbers from Russia fell 87.36 percent in the first half of the year.
