A man has been charged with plotting to assassinate President Emmanuel Macron at France's Bastille Day military parade, which the French leader is set to attend with U.S. President Donald Trump, a judicial source said Monday. The revelation of the foiled plot came after eight people were wounded Sunday night in a shooting in front of a mosque. The source added the suspect also wanted to attack "Muslims, Jews, blacks, homosexuals".Police arrested the man at his home Wednesday in the northwest Paris suburb of Argenteuil after being alerted by users of an internet chat room where the suspect allegedly said he wanted to buy a firearm.Witness accounts mentioned four men in the car, all hooded.
