It's also worth mentioning that a day after the sanctions move, which has rocked relations between the two countries, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that he agreed with U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to discuss the state of relations between Moscow and Washington in a flagrant sign of an appeasement attempt by Trump toward the Russians.Trump has introduced a revolving-door policy at the White House, with people being hired only to be promptly dismissed if doing their jobs properly conflicts with Trump's own designs. In effect, since his election nine months ago, Trump's handling of American policy has elevated the stature of Russia and Vladimir Putin to that of a superpower, stripping the U.S. of the honor of being the only country to occupy that position since the fall of the Soviet Union.
