If politicians truly wish to attain the mantle of "hero," the path to such acclaim lies not in politicking but in addressing the serious, mature and pressing challenges that overshadow life in Lebanon.As for those complaining about the absence of a women's quota, the solution is simple: Any bloc with such concerns can easily include a certain percentage of women in its electoral lists, and in the process preserve the dignity of women, who will have been elected based on merit rather than as a concession.
