The latest such episode occurred Tuesday, when Israel claimed that it had shot down an Iranian-made Hezbollah drone over the Syria border – in fact, where the borders of Israel, Syria and the Israeli-occupied Lebanese Shebaa farms meet. The incident took place just hours before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was scheduled to speak before the U.N. General Assembly, where a large part of his speech would be devoted to claims about Iranian involvement in Syria. The Lebanese are in dire need of tranquility and peace to build their country and make it prosper.
