Riyadi took outright lead of the standings after defeating Mouttahed 70-66 in overtime during round eight of the Lebanese basketball league at Tripoli Friday. Riyadi had to contend with Mouttahed's Hasan Whiteside, who is averaging 25.8 points and 17 rebounds along with five blocks per game thus far. However, Riyadi's Ahmad Ibrahim kept the visitors in contention, closing the gap to two points.His replacement, Ali Haidar, wasn't overawed by Whiteside, scoring a reverse layup and drawing a foul. He converted the free throw as Riyadi closed the gap to 35-31 . Ibrahim and Abdel-Nour both led the scoring for Riyadi with 14 points each, while Ahmad added 11 points and 10 rebounds.Whiteside posted 15 points and 18 rebounds for Mouttahed, while Fahed added 15 points and Williams notched 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
