Sagesse's first defeat this season against Mouttahed last week will have to be put to bed sharply if they are to bounce back in a crunch tie against archrivals Riyadi Beirut Sunday in round seven of the Lebanese Basketball League.Fouad Abou Chakra's side surprisingly fell to a 88-77 loss against Mouttahed, therefore the match against an undefeated Riyadi has come at a good time for the green side to bounce back. The match is the first between both sides since their famous final series last season which was clinched by Riyadi 4-2 in Sagesse's fortress of Ghazir. The winner of this fixture will also move top, as Riyadi (6-0) currently lead Sagesse (5-1) by one game. On the other hand, Sagesse's defense will be under severe scrutiny after conceding an average of 80 points per game, while Riyadi have exhibited their defensive stability, giving up only 69 points per game. While Riyadi have been dependent on certain players, Sagesse have also been relying on the trio of Terrell Stoglin, Julian Khazzouh and Desmond Penigar. Intensity on defense will be also important for Sagesse against a physical Riyadi side.
