Byblos grabbed a much-needed victory after four successive losses, downing Tadamon 83-81 after overtime Sunday at Jbeil in round seven of the Lebanese Basketball League. The Jbeil side had made a terrible start to the domestic league after registering only one win in five games, and their last loss came in humiliating fashion against Hoops 84-58 .In overtime, Burtt and Zaid Abbas gave the home side a 82-78 lead, but Ibrahim banked a huge 3-pointer to make it a one-point game with 11 seconds left.Hoops dominated the game from the outset, and led by 20 points at halftime 45-25, with the home side struggling to find their range.American guard Antwain Barbour top scored for Hoops with 26 points including 5-out-of-9 3-pointers, and his compatriot William Byrd added 14 points.
