Chris Paul scored a game-high 22 points while James Harden added 21 points and 10 assists as the Houston Rockets beat the Los Angeles Lakers 105-99 on Tuesday at Staples Center in the penultimate regular-season game for both teams.Houston followed with a 9-0 run to close the period, a spurt capped by a Joe Johnson trey with 2.1 seconds left, nearly negating the Lakers' 11-0 run open the period.Harden posted 19 points and five assists by intermission and Houston scored nine points off nine Lakers turnovers. The first half did come at a significant cost for the Rockets, however, as forward Luc Mbah a Moute sustained a dislocated right shoulder in the second quarter.
