Liverpool and Uruguay striker Luis Suarez is reportedly about to become the subject of a 52 million pound ($89 million) bid from Barcelona following a heroic performance for his country against England Thursday.Suarez signed a new contract with Liverpool in December 2013 and it included a buy-out clause of 68 million pounds, unless there is interest from Real Madrid or Barcelona, in which case there is a reduced buy-out of 52 million pounds.Suarez told the media that he wished to leave Liverpool for Champions League football and attempted to force through the move, Liverpool flatly refused and Suarez stayed on. Liverpool's principal owner John W. Henry later said that he had simply ignored the buy-out clause and refused to sell Suarez.
