Clubs across the globe are reportedly expressing interest in signing veteran leftback Ashley Cole. Cole is set to leave Chelsea FC after eight years with the west London side, after announcing on Twitter Tuesday that he would not be signing a new contract with the club.Since joining Chelsea from Arsenal in a controversial move in 2006, Cole won the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, League Cup and four FA Cups. The Reds have not featured in the Champions League in four years and could use Cole's Champions League expertise. The England leftback has featured in two Champions League finals, scoring a penalty in Chelsea's 2012 win. They'll face stiff competition from abroad, though, as The Mirror reports that Real Madrid are prepared to offer Cole a two-year contract worth 10 million pounds ($17 million). Real Madrid are managed by former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, and have long admired Cole.
