Premier League champions Chelsea have stepped up their efforts to land Colombian forward Radamel Falcao, with Sky Sports and BBC reporting Tuesday that the former Atletico Madrid man had agreed to join the London club on a season-long loan deal.Falcao, who featured under Louis Van Gaal for Manchester United last season after joining the Red Devils on loan from Monaco, scored a paltry four goals in 29 Premier League matches.Falcao rose to prominence with Mourinho's former club FC Porto, where he scored 72 goals in two campaigns for the Portuguese giants.
