Peru held Colombia to a 0-0 draw Sunday to secure a spot in the Copa America quarterfinals. The draw between Peru and Colombia eliminated Ecuador, which was the third-place team in Group A with three points and still had hopes of advancing.Peru played conservatively from the start, knowing that a draw would be enough to secure its spot in the quarterfinals.Falcao had the best chance to score less than five minutes into the game, firing a low shot that was saved by Peru goalkeeper Pedro Gallese.
