German prosecutors have charged three former German Football Association (DFB) officials and one Swiss former official from world soccer's governing body FIFA with serious tax evasion in connection with the 2006 World Cup, which Germany hosted.In a statement Friday, the Frankfurt prosecutor's office said it had also filed a request to involve the DFB in the criminal proceedings which could lead to fines.The office did not name the four officials but said they were aged between 67 and 76 years.
