England national team manager Gareth Southgate has signed a new deal that will keep him under contract until the end of the 2022 World Cup. Southgate and Football Association Chief Executive Martin Glenn announced the new agreement, which also includes Southgate's assistant Steve Holland, at a press conference Thursday.Southgate, who had two years left on his deal, will now lead England into the Euro 2020 tournament and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.However, several England managers, including Sven Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello, have left their positions before the end of their contracts.
