Usain Bolt thought that he was primed to run a strong 200 meters at the Adidas Grand Prix Saturday.Seven years ago, Bolt exploded onto the international scene in the New York meet by setting his first world record in the 100 meters on the way to double gold and double world records in the 100 meters and 200 meters at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He became his sport's one true global superstar, but sprinting around the same Icahn Stadium track Saturday, Bolt looked a pale shadow of his former self, though his mere presence still electrified the crowd.Bolt had hoped to break 20 seconds in the race as he aimed to build toward the Beijing world championships in August after a 2014 season limited by injuries.Bolt said he might have to return to the track sooner than he had expected.
