As great as reaching the podium was, the top skiers at the Alpine Ski World Cup men's downhill race Saturday in South Korea said they enjoyed themselves on the brand new slope.Jeongseon Alpine Center in eastern South Korea is hosting its first World Cup race, a test event ahead of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.Paris, who reached the World Cup podium for the first time this season, said he particularly enjoyed the jumps and turns of the course, designed by 1972 Olympic champion Bernhard Russi.The American added he wanted to take this opportunity to prepare himself for the Olympics two years from now.Jansrud noted that all courses have their own features and it was up to the skiers to adjust.
