Economy blighted by underemployment, poor education

In a recent survey by the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies asking respondents what they felt were Egypt's most severe economic problems, 48 percent of those polled rated unemployment as their number one concern. "The truth of the matter is we don't have enough jobs to go around," said Samir Radwan, managing director of the Cairo-based Economic Research Forum.
