Thanks to a memorandum issued by Interior Minister Ziad Baroud, all Lebanese have moved one step closer to being considered equal citizens in the eyes of their government. On Wednesday Baroud instructed personnel at his ministry to grant any request to have confessional identity removed from one's official file at civil registries across the country.
