Object in southern sky determined to be firework, not Israeli spy device

An object seen burning on Monday in the sky above south Lebanon turned out to be a firework and not an Israeli spy device as originally believed, the Lebanese media reported on Tuesday. Local residents reported seeing what resembled a burning parachute land in the village of Zefta, Nabatieh late on Monday evening. This Article is only available in The Daily Star on-line archive.
