An environmental meeting was held in Sidon Tuesday to discuss ways to resolve the escalating threat of its infamous dump. The meeting came after months of negotiations and attempts to remedy the problem and after several fires broke out at the southern coastal city's dump, releasing toxic fumes and putting the locals' lives at risk.
