BEIRUT: The Internal Security Forces (ISF) rescued a 28-year-old woman who tried to commit suicide in Dbayye on Tuesday, said a security source close to the ISF. The woman was trying to throw herself off the Dbayye bridge in Beirut when ISF personnel arrived at the scene. They were successfully able to persuade the young woman to get off the bridge and then accompanied her to a nearby police station. The woman later confessed that she was going through a difficult situation after a conflict she had with her boyfriend. – The Daily Star
