Arrested slander suspect Nabil al-Fala is to be freed on a bail of LL1 million, after the judiciary decision for his release was approved on Tuesday. Fala was arrested for charges of slander against Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan. He allegedly accused Kanaan of corruption throughout the 2009 parliamentary elections, during an appearance on the al-Fasad television show.
