BEIRUT: The Randa Khoury Training in Early Childhood Care and Education workshop opened over the weekend at the Ras Beirut campus of International College (IC). The weeklong workshop was commissioned by the Cairo office of the UN Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization. The workshop is being attended by 25 participants involved in teacher training from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon. The event was funded by the Randa Khoury memorial fund, set up by the late director of the IC pre-school’s colleagues and friends. – The Daily Star
