A conference to mark World Diabetes Day was held on Saturday at the Lebanese University in Beirut to raise awareness about the disease and help prevent it. The conference dubbed "Diabetes Education and Prevention" was organized by the Health Ministry and the Lebanese Order of Physicians. It was part of the World Diabetes Day campaign led by the International Diabetes Federation.
