As the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child marks its 20th anniversary Friday, the head of United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) in Lebanon said he is encouraged by the country's dedication to protecting younger citizens. With 193 ratifications, the convention is the most widely upheld international human-rights treaty in history.
