Assyrians Without Borders (AWB) announced on Monday its education scholarship program for Assyrians residing in Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. "The importance of education among the Assyrian people in the native country is large," said Thomas Aydin of AWB. "Unfortunately, this is often not possible because the students have difficulties in financing their studies.
