The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has yet to hear from the Israeli government concerning a possible withdrawal from the northern section of the border village of Ghajar. UNIFIL Chief of Public Information Meeraj Singh told The Daily Star Tuesday that "no formal communication" had taken place regarding the fate of the village.
