Chairman of the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee (LPDC) resigned Friday, saying he did not want his work to overlap with that of the government. Ambassador Khalil Makkawi said he did not want his work to clash with that of Minister of State Wael Abu Faour. Speaking to Free Lebanon radio station, Makkawi said he took the decision to resign after he came across reports in the media saying President Michel Sleiman.
