Allegations of arms smuggling from Syria into Lebanon surfaced as U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice reiterated accusations that Syria is influencing Lebanon's elections."The Syrians are still trying through, we believe, their surreptitious means in Lebanon to continue to have an affect on Lebanese elections there," Rice said in an interview with the American network MSNBC.
