Lebanon should not expect any international economic assistance unless UN Resolution 1559 is fully implemented, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Jeffrey Feltman warned yesterday. His comments will increase speculation that any U.S.-led Western economic-aid package will only be delivered if Lebanese resistance group Hizbullah.
