The United Nations called on the Lebanese resistance group  Hizbullah to merge with the country's regular army now that it is poised to be part of government. UN Special Envoy to Lebanon Terje Roed-Larsen made the comments after briefing European Union foreign ministers in Brussels on the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1559.
