Assem Hammoud, the Lebanese man arrested for planning attacks in New York, was "a very peaceful man," the concierge of a building opposite the Hammoud family's residence in Beirut said Sunday. "He used to say 'hello' to me and other people he met in the neighborhood, and I never saw him get into a quarrel with anyone," said.
