Israeli troops in South Lebanon shot and killed three Hizbullah fighters Monday evening, as UN special envoy Terje Roed-Larsen said he was optimistic that a fragile truce ending 34 days of warfare would hold. Troops spotted a group of armed fighters who looked threatening and opened fire on them, an Israeli Army spokesman said.
