Damascus denies UN report of arms crossing into Lebanon

Syria has roundly denied claims by UN Middle East envoy Terje Roed-Larsen of illegal arms trafficking from Syria into Lebanon. A senior Syrian Foreign Ministry official, quoted by the official Syrian Arab News Agency, called the claims "false."
