More than 100 Palestinian refugees fled on foot from the besieged Nahr al-Bared refugee camp and seven members of the Fatah al-Islam militant group surrendered as army troops reinforced their positions with tanks and armored vehicles ahead of what they called a "final" assault on the militants.
