The United States delivered the Lebanese armed forces 80 new High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV) - more commonly known as humvees - as part of the US military assistance to Lebanon. This shipment increases the number of such vehicles to 100 that the Lebanese armed forces have received during this year.
