The head of the Democratic Gathering, MP Walid Jumblatt, lashed out at Hizbullah late Tuesday, saying it was impossible for the ruling coalition to coexist with the resistance movement, which he described as a "totalitarian party." He also said Hizbullah was planning to establish a group similar to the Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in the areas it controls.
