The 63rd anniversary of anything is usually not one that gains particular notice. Anniversaries in multiples of five usually hog all the attention. But 63 years was a cause for major celebration on Friday at the Military Academy in the Fayyadieh district of Beirut, as scores of new military officers graduated.
