Only 26 years old, Syrian human rights activist Mohammad al-Abdullah has already been imprisoned twice, beaten, and forced into hiding in neighboring Lebanon. Jail has unfortunately become a defining feature of the Abdullah family, which has been all but splintered by the repeated arrests of its male members.
