BEIRUT: Speakers at a conference on transparency in Beirut on Thursday urged private companies to improve corporate governance.The remarks were made at a round-table discussion on the Lebanese construction sector. The event, which was held at the Phoenicia Hotel, was organized by the Lebanese Transparency Association (LTA) and the Center for International Private Enterprise, on behalf of the Lebanon Bribery Network.
