West discusses Lebanese economic aid deal
U.S., France and Britain considering package if political and fiscal reforms are implemented

The United States, France, Britain and the World Bank are considering an economic aid package for Lebanon if political and economic reforms are implemented, a French Foreign Ministry spokesman said. "Senior officials from the U.S., France, Britain and the World Bank met in Paris recently to discuss a possible request.
